Have you ever been attacked by a cat? Any bite from a cat can be very dangerous, causing very harmful health problems. This article highlights six tips to survive a bite.

See tips on how you can survive after being bitten by a pussycat;

1. Avoiding playing with cats with your bare hands

Never let your kitten or pussycat engage with your bare hands, fingers, or toes because they could catch an infection if bitten. All pussycats must learn that hands are not playthings. You are fostering a potentially harmful habit if you give your hands to a pussycat to play with.

2. Avoid punishing your cat.

Avoid giving your cat any kind of physical punishment because it will just serve to agitate them further, making them more likely to strike back, guard themselves, or participate in rough play.

3. If bitten on your hands, push your hands in to prompt the cat to leave you

If your pet bites you and refuses to let go, clench your teeth and move your hand and arm toward the bite to encourage your pussycat to let go of its grip. When you pull away from the bite, it encourages the animal to bite you even more.

In addition, you should approach your apparel as an extension of your flesh and make it off-limits; otherwise, your cat will not distinguish between scratching your jeans and your exposed legs.

4. Enhance consistent responses

Do you know that mixed information can confuse your cat training program? Ensure that your cat gets consistent responses from you and your family members. Train your family members and visitors to give consistent rules to your cat. This helps safeguard everyone in the family to avoid being bitten by a cat.

5. Train alternative behavior.

For instance, if your cat gets overly excited whenever you walk into a room and begins to attack your feet, you should teach the cat to sit and praise the pussycat for obeying. The next time you walk into a room, the pussycat will want to sit down to receive a reward.

The clicker training method involves associating a reward, such as food, with each clicker. Your cat will ultimately associate the clicking with the reward, so you will no longer need to use food treats in your training sessions.

6. Use a toy as a distraction for the cat when angry.

In situations where your pet appears agitated and protective, you can try distracting it with a toy. If that doesn’t work, getting out of the situation can frequently make a huge difference in how things turn out. If everything else fails, try using a larger distraction, such as a loud sound or throwing an object (not at the pet, of course!). Sometimes the presence of loud noises will cause them to snap out of their trance of wrath.

Conclusion
